Why the name 'Life Restoration'
This name was as a result of the Holy Spirit inspiration to Pastor Joseph because it represented at least three areas of the vision:

(a) It reflects our firm belief in the former, present and future Glory of Jesus Christ in that He came to bring about a "restoration of all things" that the devil had stolen from out Father God's kingdom. (Isaiah 61:1-11, Joel 2:25-26, Acts 3:21). Yes we believe He did it and he is still in the restoration business. The souls of men is the business God.s

(b) It portrays our mission to proclaim the good news to the poor (in spirit and physical) where by whoever believes will have a restoration of his relationship with God and to enjoy his eternity with Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)

Jesus came to bring about a "restoration of all things" that the devil had stolen from out Father God's kingdom. (Acts 3:21) he is still in the restoration Business.

(c) It reflects our concern that there are many who live life trying to heal from past wounds and scars because they have been stripped by circumstances, situations, and the enemy of their souls and hurt by institutional religion and are in need of restoration in their fellowship with God and their fellow Christians.

Statement of Faith

I. We believe in the triune God eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1John 1:1-3, 14)

II. We believe in the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God revealing the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions are tried(2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5-6)

III. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ the incarnate Son of God, born of a virgin by whom and for whom all things are created (John 1:1; 1John 5:7)

IV. We believe in the physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He ascended bodily into heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our mediator, high priest, and advocate(Acts 3:12-26;Hebrews 9:24; 1Corinthians 15:12-28; John 20) and He coming back to take his church (the believer) without a spot or a wrinkle

V. We believe in water baptism by immersion and Holy Communion as the ordinances of the church to be observed as a public declaration of salvation through Jesus and in commemoration of His death, burial, and resurrection in victory over Satan, death, hell, and the grave(1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 3:13-15)

VI. We believe in the regeneration of man securing our voluntary obedience to the gospel, evidenced by the holy fruits of repentance, faith, and newness of life (John 3:3-7; 2Corinthians 5:17, 10:2-6)

VII. We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ both for His saints and with His saints to reign in victory!(1Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1Corinthians 15:50-55)

The Foundational pillars of our Ministry
We looked at these seven aspects to be the foundational pillars for our ministry:

(a) The governing factor in all of Life Restoration is the Lordship of Jesus Christ over his people and his Lordship is discerned through the study of His word.

(b) The chief commitment we will have in life Restoration Ministries is the goal of Christ-likeness in every aspect of our conduct. Humility before other believers will be an important factor in growing in Christ-likeness.

(c) The desired atmosphere in our assemblies will be a spirit of accepting one another in Christ so that we can work out doctrines and practice them. While we are all diverse in many ways, we have one thing in common and our unity is in our relationship to Christ Jesus.

(d) We will hold that there is no distinction between rich or poor; educated and illiterate race or color, but that all in Christ are priests to God and offer spiritual sacrifices to Him. We will all bear a responsibility in building up the body of Christ.

(e) We will learn to love truth no matter where it comes from, and examine every teaching outside the Bible by “eating the meat and spitting out the bones.” We will neither reject a teaching just because we are not comfortable with it, nor will we accept a teaching just because the teacher is “one of us.”

(f) Our discipleship of others will consist in modeling the life of Jesus Christ, not just telling it. We will strive to live in such a way that we can truly say, “Imitate me as I imitate Jesus Christ.”

(g) We will seek to practice faith and generosity with our finances in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. With no building to keep up, the finances can go to ministry support, the spread of the gospel and the needy in our midst.
