| The
Outreach Ministry |
|
This
effort includes scheduling Home Bible Studies, Church
Marketing and Promotions, coordinating and teaching the
new members class "Foundations for Growth" and
the development of brochures, tracts, promotional material
and literature for outreach purposes. It is our goal to
have each ministry in the church work to fullfil their
two-fold purpose; Inreach- ministering to the needs of
those who attend LRC and Outreach- ministering to those
who are not a part of LIRIM, endeavoring to win them to
Jesus.
The missions support ministry is also placed under
the outreach ministry program where we:
(i)
Establish and maintain a mission committee.
(ii) Screen various mission support requests.
(iii) Make recommendations to the elders
for those needing our support.
(iv) Promote the mission work that we
are doing within our congregation.
(v) Manage the mission budget and coordinate
it with the treasurer and elders.
(vi) Plan events or visit with our mission
congregations.
(vii) Meet periodically with our missionaries.
(viii)Organize and plan for missionary
speakers to visit our congregation. Coordinate with the
elders and pulpit minister.
(ix) Report results of all special contributions
to the Financial ministry. |
